Gravitas Historica starts from documented historical patterns that recurred in the period for identifiable reasons, and for each asks what the game must track for the same conditions to produce the same result, without scripting it.
Who makes it
Gravitas Historica is made by IronPrats, a solo modder with a background in politics and history, and previously the developer of the Stellaris mod Dune: Desert Power.
How it is built
The overhaul is delivered in waves rather than all at once. Each system goes from research to design to a test build before it is released, and the Systems page shows where each one stands. The dev diaries explain the history behind each system and the choices made in building it.
How to help
Help is welcome: testing builds, checking the history, scripting, art and localisation. The best place to start is the discussion threads, where feedback on each design is read.
